"OTHER DESERT CITIES"
The actors of “Other Desert Cities” rehearse a scene in preparation for the show’s opening at Eunice Players' Theatre. Evening performances will be held April 16, 17, 23, 24, 25 at 7:00 p.m. A matinee will be held Sunday, April 19 at 2:00 p.m. Dinner theatre (with steak and trimmings) is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22 at 6:00 p.m. at Ruby's on Second St., with the performance immediately following. All seats are $12; dinner is an additional $20. Tickets can be purchased at David Ltd. Salon and Charming Interiors in Eunice, or by calling 546-0163 or 466-3342 to charge by phone. The theatre is located at 121 S. Second St. in Eunice. This play includes adult language and very brief use of smoking of herbal cigarettes.
Season tickets are still available for $25, which allows the bearer entrance to the season’s 3 shows, the ability to make seating reservations, an invitation to the Irving Awards, and a ballot for the awards. Patron and angel packages are also available.

Eunice Players’ Theatre to Hold Auditions
The Eunice Players’ Theatre will hold auditions for the first play of the 46th season, “Other Desert Cities” on Tuesday, February 24, and Wednesday, February 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. each evening. Directors Joshua Carrier and Jody L. Powell need adult men and women, ages 20 to 60, to fill the cast. More people are needed to assist with set decoration, backstage duties, costuming, etc. Auditions for this family drama, written by Jon Robin Baitz, are open to everyone who wants to get involved with their local community theatre, regardless of prior acting experience. Auditions will be at the theatre at 121 S. Second St. (between Ruby’s Restaurant and Bertrand’s Office Supplies). Production for this play will be in mid April. FMI call 337-580-1787.
